Korean Ticket Sites in English: What Each One Asks For

Four Korean ticketing platforms with English services compared on account, identity check, payment and ticket delivery

Last verified August 15, 2026

What this page answers

  • Which sites sell Korean tickets in English? Four are compared here: Interpark Global (NOL), YES24 Global TICKET, Ticketlink Global and Melon Ticket Global. Start from the show listing, not from the site — the operator selling it is the one whose rules apply. The four services
  • Does any of them need a Korean phone number? None of the pages read for this comparison states that a Korean number is required. Melon Ticket Global’s sign-up screen, opened 2026-08-21, has no phone number field at all. Korean phone number
  • Which ones photograph my passport? On the pages read for this comparison, Interpark Global, YES24 Global TICKET and Melon Ticket Global describe that check, each on shows marked Verified Member Only (Melon: Verified Members Only); the Ticketlink Global pages read here describe no photo step. The identity checks
  • Whose card rule is clearest? Interpark Global’s: its FAQ states NOL World accepts credit cards issued outside Korea only — VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB and UnionPay. Ticketlink’s Article 15 names seven methods without a brand or issuing country. Payment
  • Can any of them post the ticket abroad? Of the pages read here, only YES24 Global TICKET’s publish an overseas delivery option, by DHL and show by show. The rest describe collection in Korea. Overseas delivery
  • What does each site charge to book? Per ticket for a concert: Interpark Global and Melon 8,000 KRW, YES24 3,000, Ticketlink 2,000 — and Interpark Global’s Terms of Service say its fee is not refunded at all. The four services

Searching for a ticket in Korea from abroad, the first answer you need is not how to book but which site will take you. This page puts the four side by side on what actually stops people: the account, the identity check, the card, and how the ticket reaches you.

The four services compared here

They are Interpark Global (NOL, 인터파크), YES24 Global TICKET (예스24), Ticketlink Global (티켓링크) and Melon Ticket Global (멜론티켓).

Does any of them need a Korean phone number?

None of the pages read for this comparison states that a Korean number is required. Interpark Global’s Terms of Service let it verify a mobile phone number or real name at sign-up. YES24 Global TICKET uses an email address as the ID, with a verification link valid for one hour. Ticketlink Global routes sign-up through a PAYCO ID and asks for a mobile number without naming a country. Melon Ticket Global answers it on the form itself: the sign-up screen opened on 2026-08-21 carries a first and last name, an email and a password, and no phone number field at all.

Which services photograph your passport and your face

Interpark Global and YES24 Global TICKET run the same check on marked shows, each calling it Verified Member Only: a code sent to your email, your nationality, a photo of your passport, a photo of your face. Each refuses copies and photographs of a passport, and Interpark Global adds screenshots and expired documents to that list. Each sends Korean passport holders to its Korean site.

Melon Ticket Global runs it too. Its notice 18, in force since 11 September 2025, asks for a passport and a smartphone camera on shows labelled Verified Members Only, and calls the check optional otherwise. It adds two consequences: one passport verifies one account, and your account name is rewritten to the passport name.

Korean nationals abroad go a different way. Interpark Global sends them to NOL ticket, where mobile authentication or I-PIN verifies them. Only without a Korean resident registration number, or where mobile authentication is unavailable, does it take a Certificate of Overseas Korean Registration with a South Korean passport instead. YES24 tells them to prove residency to customer support, then use a dedicated link within three days.

Neither Ticketlink Global’s Terms of Use nor the English help pages read here describes a photo step. Article 16 names the passport and the resident registration card together, and never says what a visitor without the Korean card enters.

Once the Interpark Global or YES24 check passes, values lock: Interpark Global the name, date of birth and email, YES24 those three plus nationality and gender. Each of those two advises finishing the check one to two days before the sale.

Payment: the clearest split

Melon Ticket Global names credit card, Alipay Plus and PayPal; YES24 Global TICKET names credit card and PayPal, with the conditions in the table above.

Interpark Global is explicit: its FAQ states that NOL World accepts credit cards issued outside Korea only — VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB and UnionPay. Cards issued in Korea belong to its domestic service; the Use Policy adds the means must be in your own name.

Ticketlink Global’s own documents answer it only in part. Article 15 lists seven methods, from a bank deposit to a gift voucher, the seventh being any other means it accepts. But neither that agreement nor the English help pages read here names a card brand or an issuing country.

Treat American Express issued outside Korea as excluded: the purchase guide excludes it and China Union Pay, while the FAQ names only China Union Pay.

Overseas delivery: YES24 Global TICKET publishes a DHL option

YES24 Global TICKET publishes overseas delivery by DHL, show by show, switchable up to 20 business days before. Customs duties fall on the recipient, Russia and Iran are excluded, and a global booking cannot go to a Korean address.

The pages read here describe collection in Korea for the rest. Interpark Global’s pick-up FAQ answers box office from one hour before, not earlier. Its Use Policy Art. 5 and mobile-ticket FAQ define QR entry through the NOL World app. Melon Ticket Global’s purchase guide names Will Call and a mobile ticket. Ticketlink Global’s pickup guide runs a window from one hour to thirty minutes before, and adds a Home Ticket barcode. None of those pages says whether it will mail abroad.

What this comparison does not decide for you

Values not written in an operator’s documents come from its own screen, on the date shown.

This site does not cover automated purchasing, queue circumvention, accounts in another person’s name, or resale. Ticketlink states that repeated abnormal access triggers a verification step, and that continued abuse can lead to cancelled reservations and suspended access.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my existing YES24 account?

No. The FAQ states that existing YES24 members must sign up again for the Global YES24 TICKET site, which does not share member information with global.yes24.com.

What do I bring to the box office?

Interpark Global, YES24 Global TICKET and Melon Ticket Global each ask for the booking confirmation and identification. Ticketlink Global’s pickup guide asks instead for a confirmation SMS or the ticket number, its FAQ offering an ID card when neither is to hand. YES24 Global TICKET specifies a physical passport and collection by the ticket holder only, and warns that a mismatched account name and passport cause trouble. Interpark Global adds that a ticket cannot be re-issued once collected.

Is there a booking fee?

Yes. The refund windows differ: YES24 Global TICKET until 23:59 on the day of purchase, Ticketlink Global on the day you booked, and Interpark Global’s Terms of Service say its fee is not refunded at all.
