Korea Tour Card, Tmoney Travel Card, WOWPASS, Korea Travel Card, Climate Card: the names run together, and the one people search for is the one that stopped being sold. This page is a name map — what each name refers to, what its issuer charges, and where the categories differ.

Table headed the Korea Tour Card is discontinued and Tmoney now sells the Travel Card and Travel Card+, listing Korea Tour Card as discontinued on Tmoney's own page observed 2026-08-25, with no price given, Tmoney Travel Card as its successor by Tmoney at KRW 4,000, Tmoney Travel Card+ adding WOWPASS IC payment in one card at KRW 6,000, WOWPASS as a fintech card for payments, exchange and Tmoney inside bought by app or kiosk, Korea Travel Card as a bank-based card with Tmoney and EZL transit collected at Woori Bank, and Climate Card as a Seoul-only unlimited pass in 1 to 7 day tiers at KRW 3,000 plus a pass, under a line that the discontinued card's old domain now shows a for-sale notice, observed 2026-08-25

Is the Korea Tour Card still sold?

Tmoney’s Korea Tour Card page answers in one line of Korean: 코리아투어카드는 판매가 중단되었습니다. Sales of the Korea Tour Card have stopped. The page adds that people already holding one keep the same partner-merchant benefits as the Tmoney Travel Card.

The old web address tells the same story: on 2026-08-25 koreatourcard.kr served a domain-for-sale parking page instead of product information.

What Tmoney sells in its place

Two successor cards sit on that same page. The Tmoney Travel Card (티머니트래블카드) costs KRW 4,000. Tmoney sells it at convenience stores and at the staffed bus ticket offices inside Incheon International Airport. The page lists three uses. Public transport nationwide covers buses, subway, taxis, airport buses and express buses. Payment works at Tmoney merchants such as convenience stores and cafes. Partner merchants in tourism, shopping and culture carry special benefits.

The Tmoney Travel Card+ (티머니트래블카드+) costs KRW 6,000 and is sold at convenience stores. It carries the same transport and merchant benefits, then adds two functions Tmoney names as WOWPASS ones. WOWPASS IC payment works at IC terminals nationwide, including shops that do not take overseas cards. WOWPASS balance management means topping up through the app or an unstaffed exchange machine, then withdrawing Korean won at the machine. One card therefore carries two issuers’ functions.

Which cards does the tourism board actually list?

Two panels headed prepaid cards charge per ride and the Climate Card charges by the day, the prepaid side listing Tmoney and EZL as convenience-store staples, WOWPASS as an exchange machine plus a Tmoney balance, and Tmoney as refunded at counters with KRW 500,000 only at T-money Town, the pass side listing the Climate Card short-term pass as Seoul only for 1 to 7 days, not valid on airport buses or AREX from Incheon Airport, and priced by days held rather than by trips taken, under a line that Visit Korea's card guide names four main cards

Korea Tourism Organization’s card guide opens with the naming answer: “Tourists in Korea can use four main transportation cards: Tmoney Card, EZL Card, WOWPASS, and Climate Card.”

The split that matters is inside that sentence. Three of the four main cards it names are prepaid cards that charge each ride, and the Climate Card is a pass that buys a period of unlimited rides inside Seoul.

The EZL figures are the tourism board’s, because EZL’s own English page could not be reached.

The Climate Card column narrows to the short-term passes: Korea Tourism Organization’s guide makes those the only tier available from October 1, 2026, dates the 30-day version’s last recharge to August 31 and its last valid day to September 29.

The lookalikes that are not on that list

The Korea Travel Card is the name closest to the others, and it is a different kind of product. Its site describes a bank-based card managed by Korea’s top banks and card companies, collected at Woori Bank Incheon Airport on arrival, running on Hana Card’s payment network. Its transit function comes from the same two issuers as the prepaid cards: the site states that T-money and EZL work for buses, subways and taxis nationwide. Top-ups happen at subway kiosks or convenience stores, named as CU, GS25 and 7-Eleven, and the site counts 3,742 Woori Bank ATMs plus convenience-store ATMs for cash withdrawal.

Mpass is a fifth name in the same guide, called there a “Foreigner-exclusive Tmoney Card”. It is priced at KRW 15,000 for one day up to KRW 64,500 for seven, Korean won cash only, capped at 20 rides a day, issued and returned at Tmoney Town.

The Discover Seoul Pass is a sightseeing pass rather than a stored-value transport card. Its mobile version supplies a five-day eSIM and carries no transportation-card or prepaid-card function. The association’s entry lists AREX, K Limousine, Seoul Bike and the City Tour Bus among its inclusions, at KRW 49,000 for the five-day Pick 3 Basic Pass and KRW 90,000 for the 72-hour pass.

What moves after this reading

The Climate Card side of this table is mid-transition through September 2026.

What does the guide say about EZL?

Korea Tourism Organization’s guide prints EZL’s own figures: a price from KRW 4,000, refunds under KRW 20,000, at convenience stores, sale nationwide at GS25, CU, 7-ELEVEN, emart24 and others, and acceptance at credit-card merchants nationwide, excepting stores on unauthorized-approval, batch-approval or automatic-transfer systems, stores charging cancellation fees, and stores issuing their own gift cards. It adds that registering the card in the EZL app lets a phone do the tagging.

Does the Korea Travel Card need a Korean bank account?

The issuer’s page does not say. It describes a bank-based card collected at Woori Bank Incheon Airport on arrival and running on Hana Card’s network, and stops short of the application requirements.

Which card can I pick up at the airport?

This page does not rank them, so here is what each issuer says. Tmoney sells the Tmoney Travel Card at convenience stores and at the staffed bus ticket offices inside Incheon International Airport. Korea Tourism Organization places WOWPASS kiosks at major airports, subway stations and hotels, with a passport required. Korea Travel Card’s site offers pickup at Woori Bank Incheon Airport on arrival. The Climate Card is a different case: Tmoney’s guide puts its sale kiosks inside Seoul, and its rules bar boarding AREX at Incheon Airport Terminal 1 or 2.

Does WOWPASS work on the subway?

WOWPASS describes it as built in: “With the Tmoney feature integrated into WOWPASS, there’s no need to pay for single-journey subway tickets or purchase a separate transportation card.” The balance is loaded at purchase and available as soon as the card is picked up.
